Hey guys, sorry for the delay in posting, was sick as a dog last night and just got up.

Here's the picture for John of the VDF crew from l-r of J!m, DrmR69, mchair303, Big Blue, Jeremy, AH26 and CTMichaelV

It was great to meet some members I had not met before and I was lucky enough to be sitting in the same row as Ringo during the Bissonette session ! One of the highlights of course was to see B-Blue in person. A beautiful kit that will now be seen by many for years to come.

Any drums of interest besides Big Blue? How was the turnout? I ask only because about 20 years ago I attended my one and only drum show at I think it was called The Peppermint Lounge in Pa. It was great. I picked up a few goodies.

Well, “interesting “ is in the eye of the beer holder...

But, I saw three Gretsch bop kits (18” bass) and two Camco kits- one merlot and the other purple “moray” I think it’s called. The lava lamp looking swirly finish. That one sold I noted later.

Good showing of earlier stuff too. Plenty of junk but overall a high quality display.

A highlight for me is catching up with Joe (Montineri) and Justin (Ottaviano). My search for Gretsch snare parts came up empty but there were plenty of snares to choose from.

The only think I ended up buying was a stubby boom arm for the Yamaha triple clamp. I paid seven bucks for it. (The top wing nut alone is five new...) sold some stuff so came out ahead (and made space). Happy.
