Trying to find out what Ludwig kit this is.

Hello.

I’m not too familiar with the Ludwig model kits. This kit is for sale and I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the age, model and maybe value?

These are all the pictures I have. Thank you all.

Thank you.

Classic maple series? That’s what I could come up with. Maybe 2012?

Newer keystone repops

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Please excuse my ignorance.

These are keystone model drums? I’m unfamiliar with repops.

Thank you

Keystone is the label given to the shape of the badge. For instance there are blue/olive badge, black and white, but keystone was before those and the repro's use that shape/style badge to resemble "vintage" keystone badge.

Awesome. Thank you for the explanation.

I guess these are in fact Classic Maple Component kit. All serial numbers are sequential. Those bass drum claws, Spurs and Tom mount was custom ordered by the original owner.

I’m picking them up tomorrow. Seems to be a good deal.

As a SONOR guy, I questioned those claws but was not sure. They look YAMAHA to me. I flipped a Yammy kit about that era.....ish.

That's my guess.

I found this kit on reverb and it seems to be the same series kit as the one in question. The claws look like the ones I’m buying. Maybe it was an option during that time?

I think you're right, I can see them better now and the lines line up with the lugs, they probably are optional or even Ludwig production.
