Great looking drum!

Is there a visible date stamp inside the shell?

Are there inserts in the lugs?

It appears to be the later version of "art gold" or is it 24 kt gold?

Thank you.

I just checked and there are no visible date stamps inside the drum.

There are no inserts in the lugs, (which made me nervous replacing the rim)!

I'm not sure regarding art vs. 24, I'm doing more research, perhaps Rick can comment.

I'm working to gather more information on it and consulting with Rick Gier to identify and determine specifics. I'm hesitant to say more until I can learn more. But it's definitely a special drum!

It is in incredible shape.

How long have you had it and where did it come from?

I am working with Ambro77 to help identify the drum. I have not had up close and personal time with the drum yet, so it may be a little while until there is a lot to share. Ambro77 is understandably excited about this drum, and I am pretty excited to be helping him.

More to come.

Hello BEC,

Can you tell me the best way to determine whether it's art vs 24k?

Thanks!
