Seller Feedback

Recently bought a rare Trixon snare from Calfskin (Phil). It couldn't have been more pleasant. I got a great drum at a reasonable price, and the packaging was top-notch. A very nice and knowledgeable person to do business with. My highest recommendation.

Best.

I have been remiss in following up with feedback, so I would like to thank for their excellent service:

Bill Fulton: One Speed King and a Caroline--Happy with every part of the transactions

Mikey: Some Trixon parts--Again very happy with the transactions

DonoThorpe: More Trixon parts and again very happy with the transaction.

It has been a pleasure communicating with each of you, very straight up and informative.

Thanks,

Patrick

The pleasure was all mine, Dave. In case you all don't know, Dave has some very nice performances on youtube through Boston Drum Shop. Search Dave Brophy, Boston Drum or Gretsch Tangerine Sparkle. Very musical playing! Thanks!!!

Hi Forgot to mention Jim out in Ohio. Jim was giving away a snare drum shell which I ended up with. Very generous of him and a great guy as well. Jim thank you~! Sorry I'm so late with this reply. I thought I wrote something already but see I didn't. My bad. The shell has a good home and new life as a floor tom. Hopefully done in the next month or so, soon as I save some cash to buy heads and Ft legs and leg mounts. Thanks again Jim!

I have bought from only a few members on the site and have been impressed with their dealings.. and each have gone out of their way to get goods to me in Australia. Whilst I have posted thanks to them both privately and on the forum.. anyway I'll say it again to Lynn, Kevin and Eric.

--------------------

A few weeks ago I put out a post seeking a couple of small Slingo parts, within a couple of hours I was PM'd by 2manydrums, he had the parts and he quoted me, I agreed and did the Paypal transfer right away. When he sent me the USPS tracking number a few days later, on running it through I discovered that the number had been in the system for at least a week before we even did the deal. It appeared to be for an item in "limbo" that was (and probably still is),, just going nowhere. I checked back with TM on several occasions and he was insistent initially, that the number was correct.

Later he said it was a mix up and that he had sent me the wrong number.. but that the parcel had been sent. Meantime I had read this thread for the first time and read of some previous history on TM, which did not exactly fill me with confidence of the parts arriving anywhere in the near future.

After 2 plus weeks of asking where the hell? they were, my emails to TM took on an accusing tone, to which TM replied to me in a genuine and polite manner and with the assurance that the parts had been sent. He then later advised me to reverse the Paypal payment and to pay him when the parts did arrive... a couple of days ago I did start that by lodging a dispute with Pay pal.

End of story.. today the parts arrived, 3 weeks later, post dated exactly when TM advised me that he had sent them.. So here I am with Egg on my face, apologising and thanking TM for fullfilling the sale in a fit and proper manner..

Thanks TM

Sorry to be longwinded, but it had to be said. So at the end of the day I have had 100% success with buying from forum members.

Cheers
