Spent waaay too much time on this last nite. I took a lot of breaks but still I should have spent this time practicing. Stripped all the hardware off the toms, did one rust removal session only to have the rust come back from not drying off properly. Rack and floor tom cleaned off on the inside (there was something that lived inside the floor tom) and cleaned the wrap.

Most of the internals of the rack tom were spotless. The screws all looked new.

Test fit a head on the floor tom. For some reason a regular Evans G2 was a better fit vs the level 360.

I cleaned, used compound on them and cleaned again. Other than maybe Novus I think they are as good as they will get. Might get to cleaning the hardware today. It all cleaned up easy in the soap bath.
