Rogers Dynasonic $$ Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Coupled with the rarity of supply, it is also a uniquely designed and engineered drum (as are all Dynasonics) with the added uniqueness of the sound of the wooden shell. A very advanced drum I might add.

And thanks Tommy for narrowing the price range right to the asking price I put on mine earlier in the week at $1700. I've only seen one other one like it, being jet black. And, if you are really patient, you can have the matching 20, 12, 14 set next summer if you let me know ahead of time (unrealistic, I know). That will be $1400. The reason for the wait is that I have the snare down south and the drums up north and won't get back up north until summer.

Right now I have three of the wooden shell Dynas, so I've decided to stop hogging them and spread the wealth (or debt as the case may be). So moving down to two for now. I will also be selling a COB 7-line in the summer, but that is clearly not as rare, though also a very nice drum.

... and why wouldn't you be Mark? You got the BEST one out there, bar none! JMCD "DynaTone" ... absolutely DEAD NUTS on to Rogers OEM. NICE!!!Tommyp

Tommyp!

You and I have discussed these "Dynatone" snare drums at great length. I couldn't be happier! The shell, and workmanship, is as close as you can get to the real thing! As to my NOS Diplomat head, it's only installed for display.

Here are a couple HD pics of my Rogers 1968 Dynasonic in WMP ... of course! These pics were taken for a magazine publication, thus they were taken with controlled and balanced neutral lighting. No enhancements. The drum is as it looks here! The wrap is amazingly "un-yellowed" and pretty white. Hopefully you might ENJOY!

THANKS! ... and it truly is near PERFECT! I got this from a guy in Chicago about 10 years ago. He bought it brand new, and the drum NEVER left his house! He just played it inside for all those years .. thus .. it was, and still is, PRISTINE! I have only gigged it once, as I actually play my 1967 WMP Dynasonic as my main snare drum, so the 1968 continues to remain quite colorfast.
