Rogers Drums

I'm thinking about buying this Rogers kit, I know the wrap is not the coolest, but it is a Rogers. The seller will take $550, any thoughts?

It looks like the tags and paint had been removed on the interior of the shells. They have white felt mufflers, would these be Fullerton?

I think the wrap is really cool. They appear to be in good shape. Obviously a matched kit. A big yes from me.

Wow, this looks to be in very nice, and clean, shape! Seems like a bargain to me? And, I believe the wrap is called Koa. I'd have to look at the catalogs to be sure. Regardless, I say get them! Let us know!

I just noticed that the interior of the floor tom appears to be clear maple. Is that correct? All the shells should have the grey "trunk paint" spray on them.

Looks like whoever removed the interior paint did a good job of it....although I don't know why anyone would want to do that...*shrugs*

And I think that wrap is one of the cortex wraps -very thick and durable...believe it was intended for kitchen laminate countertops.

Cast collet spinners on bass drum spurs and tom arms. Also cast floor tom leg mounts. Check to see if there is any cracking of the collets. Likely 9/72 Fullerton paper labels that often fell off on their own.

Worth $550. Maybe try to get discount for the paint removal on the floor tom.

Actually, all the drums had the paint removed.

Go for it, but offer a little less for paint removal. I'd say $500 is a nice price. You could always rewrap them.
