I'm a drummer, not a drum dealer, but I will apologize for not being more thorough with the kit I sold you.
"I've got a problem"....yes, you do. Last viewed: 11 hours ago
I do not see Rogers cymbal holder and partial return of the extensive cost of shipping until this day from you, Mark.
Don't ever think that I forgotten.
In case of deal with johnnyringo:

like I said, you would be best off to just silently fade away at this point as there may well be more comments coming that you just don't remember....there are many. And like I also stated, it's not the "mistake" but rather how that "mistake" is handled that makes all the difference in the world. This is a lesson that apparently several out there fail to learn.
Guys!
This particular thread and it's posts are NOT considered "attacks". If you read .. carefully ..what I wrote on the other thread "Strictly personal" ... you will see that by attacks I/we meant PERSONAL AFFRONTS on another member having to do with their beliefs, background, ethnicity, whatever! We allow the buying/selling of drums etc. here .. but .. that practice HAS TO BE completely self policed. Things can, and do, go wrong. A lot of transactions go GREAT too of course! Once a post/thread starts deteriorating into PERSONAL ATTACKS, I have no choice but to remove it. Speaking of move it...
... I have placed this one in the GENERAL category, and here it shall remain... as long as the "discussion" remains civil. My suggestion: Read posts! Do your research! KNOW whom you're dealing with when you enter into a deal! Should it go sour, well... try to resolve it PRIVATELY first. If all else fails, and you feel the need to post here about it... TRY to remain civil! You can still get your point/out across without PERSONAL ATTACKS. The best thing to do though, especially so when BUYING/SELLING with another member is: RESEARCH that particular members buying and selling practices BEFORE you enter into a deal.

It's good to get the back story on the "Problemgate" issue. I do not wish to pick sides. I see claims and counterclaims. I'm sorry some of you have been wronged.
My positive comments on the original "I have a problem" still stand although maybe not quite in the direct context of this case. I had no idea that reading into the plain text that there was a business issue here. I now agree with Ploughmans point of view.
Jonny apologise and refund or do whatever to sort out the mess you made(and then some). You especially can't hide behind the get what you paid for attitude, that's a cop out. It seems fair to agree your a drummer not a dealer but I believe you've been a naive fool. Treat others as you would expect them to treat you. Until then I'm glad for the heads up from the others.
On saying that to all others, you get what you pay for. Cheap items, cheap P&P. Cheap deals like on a few hundred bucks for a floor tom is great, but It's clear that attitudes and arrangements for packaging is a big issue and you should be doing specific deals on that. The same care should be put into a £50 item as a £5000 item. Demand a certain packaging style and level and pay for it! It seems some less imaginative sellers fall down on this, and buyers relax into the bargain aspect. 20 years ago I worked for Parcelforce as a claims administrator. You should of seen the packaging horror from proper up right businesses. One badly wrapped item could cause total carnage on the conveyor belts.
To those who are allegedly not accepting refunds, that doesn't help either. And telling Jonny to shut up doesn't impress me. At least as a outside member I can glean context out of this through the exchange.
Otherwise if your still not happy take it off the public site and into a small claims court.
Good luck all of you.

This is what I feel about all of you and your comments I have been here a while and as soon as we go in a rant and a rave me too no one is immune it shows our b side so my advise to all is if you don't like the heat "get out of the kitchen" if you have a bad deal send it back and get a refund if some gets you upset over a blog say a nice thing about them , it mite make all the difference in the world , as I see it Girls 'get your panties on right ' let's all be human beings not some political driven dirt balls , or disgruntled buyers/sellers who want there items to be showroom perfect or who look at them as museum art , beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it is what it is move on and stop beating a dead horse ....did I say I found my missing drum head LOL

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
Yes you did and I'd like to buy it but only if you ship it in a single layer of tissue paper soaked in orange juice.
I like your radical idea of saying something nice about someone who upsets you...what was it somebody once said about turning the other cheek? It's well-nigh impossible for most to do but like you say can make all the difference in the world...
Aside from that I hope all can work out their issues...

Not to worry, I will absolutely never sell anything here again. It's funny how all the guys I've had good transactions with have remained silent.Hmmmm
