"I've got a problem"....yes, you do. Last viewed: 11 seconds ago

> This is obviously a "closed group".

Not at all, Gary. You just picked the wrong section of the site to post your complaint/feedback. Post a review in the Seller Feedback section. It will not be deleted from there because it is a buyer leaving feedback about a seller. That's what the thread is for. Here in the vintage drum section, it is badly out of place and just comes off as an attack. LEAVE FEEDBACK. If you don't there's going to be a 'next guy' that gets shafted.

Too many great drums to list here!

I'll be very honest with you...I can't navigate my way around this internet at all. I don't see where I can leave feedback...I can't find the section. DFO is even worse, I refuse to try to find my way around there anymore!!

Gary - On the home page is a list of all the different forums. The last one on the list is the "General" forum. Click on it and when it opens up you'll see a thread at the very top of the page that is called: Seller Feedback.

Leave feedback... and don't let this guy ruin your day... not worth it - at all!

Patient: "Doc, it hurts when I push right here."Doctor: "So don't push right there". I sat here and read the thread from "johnnyringo" and sat on my hands as I just didn't want to get involved yet again on this forum with this guy.But then the thread gets deleted, imagine that, so I didn't have to sit on my hands any longer.....but I can't just let this go. I spelled out my case, with pictures, right here on this site and it got deleted. When I inquired as to why that happened I was forced to believe that this forum is not here to air dirty laundry, to which I agree. However, I brought up some valid points regarding this "seller of drums" and I felt my points should have been left out there for others to see, but not so as the whole thing just went away. And now this guy, "johnnyringo" feels the need to cry that he thinks, "someone is saying bad things about me behind my back"? I told Mr. Ringo that if he feels he wishes to continue in the direction he was heading as far as our transaction then I would have no choice but to state our transaction publicly as he was wrong and failed to amend that situation. I will not get into any of the details of his very poor business transaction but if any of you would wish to inquire, my email is gbender59@yahoo.com. I do also wish to state, quite emphatically, that 6 (SIX) forum members have contacted me about the very bad business transactions they have also had with this person who feels he is being wronged by having discussions about him that are not in a favorable direction, but not ONE of them has bothered to step forward to promote this cause. Let me also state that "word of mouth" is a very good thing, it certainly has been for me. as far as promoting your business....or at least it should be. Not so much though when those words are not good....sorry about that Mr. Ringo. I believe I told you way back when that the road you are choosing is not one that I would advise. You opted out. A wise man would take his beating and travel forward. That, again, would be my advice. Don't push on that sore spot.

Fyi, I got that club date on a trade deal from a guy here in town who is notorious for going over a kit with a fine tooth comb. The kit sat in my bedroom for a month before I decided to put it up her for sale, no, I did not take it apart and check every square inch. I intended on finding a matching floor, I even posted on here looking for one. I sold the kit for what I had in it, no profit was made by me. You saw a blue oyster pearl club date at a good price with the intention of re-selling for a big profit. Really, try to find a mint blue oyster pearl club date for $550, even a two piece like the one I sold you. The kit was worth exactly what you paid. If you remember, I did offer you a refund, you refused.

I have no idea what AirborneSFC is talking about, he told me he was happy with the silver sparkle Rogers and it was well packed, he got that kit for $350. I'd surely put up with a bent t-rod and a scratch on the interior for that price.

this is exactly why this posting will get deleted. I'm not going to discuss

our very poor business transaction here. I already did that, with pictures, and it also got deleted. I will, however, certainly discuss what transpired on every forum I belong to, now that you feel your "good name" has somehow been smeared. You offered me a refund LESS the $150 in shipping both ways, which I refused to accept, and you ONLY offered that AFTER I set you out here on this forum. Your initial reply was "you are a liar, it must have happened during shipping, those drums were gone over with a fine tooth comb". Whatever...you know what took place, I know what took place, and now I guess you need everyone to know what took place. I can, and will, do that. You should not have pushed on that sore spot, like I said, a smarter man would have absorbed that. Case closed, as this thread will be very soon.

Well, I don't sell here too often, so I'm not really worried about my name being smeared. Rarely do I make a profit on anything I've sold here, I actually took a loss on the kit I sold to AirbornAFC because I needed some cash. I'm not a dealer, I don't check drums with a microscope for every minor scratch or imperfection. The club dates looked fine to me, but I didn't take them apart and check them out they way you did. Btw, you initially told me you were happy with the kit, then, a week later, you brought up the minor issues.

not at all. Just saying no need to try to "save face" with more words as you have already taken care of that. This is where I will close. You opened the can...remember that.
