What a great thread. I just had a similar experience with a Premier drum set I bought in the early 60's, sold it, and bought it back again just a few months ago. Aside from getting some great vintage drums, it was a nostalgic and heart warming experience to sit behind those same drums again after all those years. Of course, it was a lot of work to restore them, and I still need 16 Art Deco Premier floor tom lugs, but I've been playing what I have with a 15 piece big band, and loving it.

Vic....at first I didn't think it was you 45 years later...but having the same smile, gave it away. :) Makes me remember my first kit! Even when it sounded BAD, it sounded great to me. Glad to see a happy ending!

So AWESOME ! Congrats and high fives to everyone who helped this guy realize his dream .

Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..
