Did Zildjian alway stamp Zildjian on all their cymbals ? Even the one`s similar to this size they made for kick pedal attachments, low boys , and the first HH`s in the thirties ? The only other .."Stanbul" I ever heard of was K Zildjian co.

Yes they did alway stamp them. And Stanbul has nothing to do with K. Zildjian either.

This is why I thought Stambul and K Zildjian&Co, It`s an easy mistake for me to make.
I went looking for ten inch cymbals for BD`s and saw these clappers and remembered the Stambul part.
So if these are two different companies, then the one on the right can stamp ..Made In Turkey.. on it and also Stambul, wich is what that stamp has on page one !!
I also saw in a 1930 Cat. the same thing except it said Konstantinople next to it !!
Does this make any sence ?
O.K. now I see. That was an error from whoever printed that pricelist and thereby caused you to be led astray.
Even though the Cymbal Police were scheduled to come out and to bang down your door, I've arranged to cancel that.
But whoever was responsible for printing that most egregious error in the first place can expect the dreaded door pounding in the middle of the night.
So the 1930 Cat. has a pricelist for K Zildjian&Co., Konstantinople,....Is that just the way they spell it in German ?
These are the only known Sonor Catalogue from the thirties in exsistance, so they must be set straight !!
