someone also asked this may be a strange post, well not really when you consider the fact that over the last year I have spent well over 2K buying and selling pies that did not fit with my taste......some may say, just go to a drum store and try them out? or go to Paiste's web site and hear the sound clips, well, for me that does not work, I have tested pies at stores, they sound good there, I buy em, then find they don't work with my band, I have done this more so on e aby, I have lost a ton of money doing this, my best bet is talking to other drummers about cymbals, I get a much better feel doing this, which is the point of this post, on the Paiste forum I was turned on to the rude crash ride/ and found this cymbal to be my best find of all. Huge projection, loud, musical, and cuts throught anything. I appreciate the help here, I think I'm going with the Rudes, 2002's and one Z. This is an out door event called Rib Fest, the largest Fest in IL, outside of the Taste of Chicago. Styx is planing the next day, I'll have pics soon, bringing my Fibes set, and made arrangment to takl to Brian Hyatt of REO, I understand he is a collector, G

I myself like thick cymbals for crashes and thin ones for rides and 14" hats cuz I hit hard !!
