My life with a Slingerland Rolling Bomber Last viewed: 10 seconds ago

Tom holders: the seller had RIMS-like brackets custom made for the 13", 14" and 16" toms, so mounting was easy for those.

But the 12" came without any mount, so I bought this:

http://www.gibraltarhardware.com/?fa=partsdetail&curcat=2&bnd=11&cid=120&sid=669&pid=2135

I had to work the adjustable rail a bit for it to fit on the 12" but it now fits perfectly. Not the most elegant solution, but works just fine.

When playing toms, I usually only use the 12" and 16" shells, as I find the 12" to sound richer than the 13" (probably due to the large center re-inforcement ring).

"The seller I got my Bombers from has wooden kick pedal/hi-hat stand"

Any chance you can contact the person you bought your kit from and ask for pictures of the wooden hi hat. I've wanted to see an original one for a long time, even a picture.

I know some other drum companies made wooden hardware but trying to find ANY is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Thanks

Can you go much classier than this, as far as snare flight-case goes?
