Couldn't be happier this Slingerland marcher is heading my way. Yep, wrap issues but just going to clean and enjoy. Anyone with any of the missing bits please let me know.
Thanks!
Creighton
That will be a nice project. Bet it will clean up well.

Congrats Creighton~! Glad you were able to snag it and at a real nice price too!
I think you should start a marching band, with a drum that cool why not!
that will be a good project !
It has arrived. Shakes out to be a 1951 Parade King #705. 10"x15", chrome hardware and #967 Strainer (long gone). $84.00 new. 64 years later $60. Glad I grabbed it before any more parts stripped. Some pics attached. If anybody can decode the hand written "2... and F" much thanks!

Keerist, the inside of that shell is a thing of beauty. Hope you get it up and running. They make excellent toms as well in a mongrel kit.

Sweet snare drum! Congrats on the score buddy it's a great one. Love the color too. Yes for sure the interior looks day 1 fresh. Hope you can decode the scribble.
Cool drum for sure, and I agree with John, the wood on the inside looks great.
Bit more cleaning finished. This is by far the best original condition drum I've ever owned. Regret lost my daylight for pics but the lug interior washers stamped Slingerland Chicago are spot on mint.
Getting the tape and various crap off the shell. Update thread when can.
