Ludwig's Top Hat & Cane 90th Anniversary

Bought this kit a couple of months ago and decided to share it with everyone. Had been searching for an anniversary kit for about 5 years so was delighted to finally grab this one from the states and bring it accross the pond.. ..

The set consists of era correct Ludwig shells (late 30's to early 40's - time period when the original Top Hat and Cane wrap was produced). It includes a Leedy 14 x 26 bass drum with original badge, a Ludwig & Ludwig 9 x 13 ride tom with original badge and original tacked on bottom calf skin head, a WFL 12 x 15 tube lug floor tom converted from a marching snare, and a Gretsch 4 x 14 6-lug single tension snare equipped with the original Perma-Tone head, silver sealer shell, and a P-83 strainer.

The kit comes with the vintage bass drum hoop-mounted clip type tom holder that work great, and new retro hoop clamp-on fold-out bass drum spurs.

The wrap is in amazing conditon and I still cannot believe i finally have one..

Hi Gerald, glad you liked the kit mate...first gig with it is on 19 May..cant wait to give it a run out...

Apparently there aren't many full kits about...i know that joey kramer, bun e carlos, and todd trent have the 90th anniversary kit too..
