My prices are the cheapest on ebay. Others are selling them for a lot more.

Actual there is a way to tell the difference. Some vintage tone controls have the mounting bolt under the tone knob. Others including new TC have them above the tone knob. Also a lot of the vintage ones have a black felt pad. The new ones have a grey one.

If there is a point you'd like to make please do so. But I'm not going any lower than $20.00 for a tone control.

I really like the tone controls with the knob on top and mounting screw below and do seek them out when needed. The only real issue with all the "vintage" tone controls is that the muffler pad tends to wobble around and make noise. This is due to the shrinking of the cork washer over time. My girlfriend repairs all mine by wrapping thread around the shaft and neatly tying them off. Ludwig finally addressed this issue with the new tone controls which use a white nylon washer to eliminate any play...now and in the future!

just buy the new ones for $19, you can't tell any difference from the originals whatsoever.
