I completely agree with CT Pro Percussion on this. A drum is a musical instrument and as such should be maintained unless you are just displaying or flipping. If you are using it as a musical instrument, there is no difference between maintaining your bearing edges than there is dressing your frets. Of course, if you want a double 45 I would suggest buying a modern kit, but otherwise, well maintained bearing edges are pretty essential to a drum as a musical instrument.

So I ended up selling this kit and avoided this site in case anyone found out ha! But after much work, and a very stressful day I finally a, the proud owner of these beautiful drums again. I learned a very valuable lesson and will never sell these again! Now if I can just find a 14 tom....
