I've found a Ludwig keystone w/serial# badge marching snare for sale listed with a "tri tone" wrap. Basically its sparkle silver on the top and bottom with sparkle green on the center.
It has 3 separate wrap strips (for lack of a better word). I tried searching and haven't found much about "tri tone" wraps.
Are they common? Thanks for any info!
I remember marching drums in my ill gotten youth that had that color combination.
Maybe a special order for a school with these colors?
As JS mentioned most likely in school colors, the banded Pearl wraps were extremely common and available through the marching line-up. The 2-color/3-stripe was the most popular, but Ludwig also offered 3-color/5-stripe for a little flair and I bet if you were a regular customer with a decent size order there weren't any real limitations (but I'm sure most band directors were fairly conservative and had to match the uniforms/school colors). I added some catalog screen shots for reference...
Bonzoleum plays some 3-striped sparkle drums on his youtube channel. His 26-in kick was a marcher. Probably not all that uncommon for marching bands.

this one is selling on GW but it is a keystone pioneer not a marcher.
I have an original mid 60's Ludwig 12x15 center lug model with three separate wraps/colors. I really like it.
Slingerland was doing the same thing, although I don't believe there was an actual name for it. Here's my 70's 10x14, 3-band, marching drum.
