The snare is a 3x13 Jazz Combo. I've got one from 1960. Rob Cook in The Ludwig Book has them listed as produced from 1960-1970 so yours is probably from the 1970 end of that period. Yes the strainer has been replaced. It was originally a P-84 Small Pioneer Strainer.
Ludwig Paper Labels from 1971/72 Time Frame - Date Codes?
The "Date Code" was in use in approximately 1971/1972. This pushes zenstat's date just a little. I have seen other B/O badge 3x13 Jazz Combos in chrome, some with serial numbers indicating dates well into the 1970s.

Thanks Rick. The 1970 is Rob Cook's year not mine. And I don't know if it was based on when the Jazz Combo last appeared in a catalog or ad or price list, or if it was augmented by something like date stamps. All of the year estimates are subject to the usual plus or minus two years. I just forgot to add the plus or minus. Here is the story told by the Ludwig catalogs:
The 3x13 6 lug Jazz Combo appears in the 1967 catalog.
The 3x13 6 lug Jazz Combo* appears in the 1971 catalog.
The 3x13 6 lug metal version called Piccolo appears in the 1971 catalog.
The 3x13 6 lug Jazz Combo does not appear in the 1973 catalog.
The 3x13 6 lug metal version called Piccolo appears in the 1973 catalog.
* note that whoever did the layout for the 1971 catalog mucked up and called the 4x14 8 lug Downbeat snare the Jazz Combo and the 3x13 6 lug the Jazz Combo snare in the headings. But the lug count and pricing lets the informed reader know which is which.
zenstat is right. I was reporting 3x13 chrome snare drums without regard to their catalog name. I do not have reports of wood shelled 3x13 snares after 1969/1970.

For those following this thread, I revised the tables on my website regarding the Date Codes. It is at the bottom of this page - http://www.gretschdrumdatingguide.com/ludwig-drum-guide.html
There are now 269 drums reported with Date Codes or partial Date Codes. I still do not have the answer, but with more data, we will eventually get there.
