Nothing at all. I'm just not in the mood to get detailed on this one. There are lots of members who will chime in. It's most likely a mod SC. But, because of the mods, it can get hairy teasing out the details. That's all. If you want closure ... it's a SC with some mods. That's the easiest answer.

I can live with that untill someone tells me otherwise....

Cool. Make no mistake, your kit is so beautiful and so desirable (by ME!!!). I've gazed on these pics on and off during this whole bit ... man oh man ... I'm really falling in love with it. I can only imagine the intensity you must feel sitting behind it. That's a Buddy Rich Super Classic ... so sweet. I've got a 71 Buddy Rich Slingerland kit. There's just something so "right" about those sizes and the placement of the drums and cymbals. Love it.

It is truly a nice kit to play. I never thought in a million years that I'd be playing such an old kit and I do use it quite a bit for rehearsals (can wait to gig it!). I haven't gone back to my new kit since I bought this. I'd really like to know that history behind this kit as well but not sure if its obtainable.

That being said, I bought the kit to use, but more and more I've been getting interested in knowing more about it since I'm not a vintage drum expert by any means. I really don't give two shakes if its a SC or not cause it's only for my historic sake info anyway
