Mikey, I've said this before and got "scolded" from the masses for posting a similar thread. I took some time and did some cooling off, and came back. Maybe a similar thing is in order here. :D

One thing I've noticed since "coming back from the dead" (thank you ex-wife for that one!) is that the forum has changed, for the better in some cases, and not so much in others. Hopefully you'll change your mind and continue to be a part of the forum. I'd hate to see you leave over some clown who needed the $6 more than you did.

I agree with Lazerus. Just take a bit to cool off, and then return. Don't make it a permanent 'later'.

Don't take that transaction personally. I understand being sick, but I can see it from the buyer's view. Agreed that $6.00 part is not a big deal (I've got $225.00 in limbo right now) to you, but when you give your word, some people expect results faster than others, and I've learned that an email goes a long way.

Just keep it as lesson learned. I know you and I have had our PM's about selling and shipping. As I said before, make it to protect yourself. If you don't want to ship to P.O. Boxes, make is signature confirmation and have the buyer pay for it. At least that way you're protected.

BTW, I'm still interested in a hoop you said you had for this set.

Understanding goes a long long way.

When I bought my Red Ripple Powertone, I sent the money right away. The post office lost my priority mail envelope. Took it two months to finally arrive. The seller had purchased the drum specifically for me, and was very understanding of the circumstances as well as the extended time in which his money was tied down. One broken transaction doesnt mean the end of the world. And come on, it was just a cup of coffee, and the guy still received it.

I have been thinking and going over this the last few days.The same question keep coming up in my mind.Why should i leave this great forum? Why let a few members[they Both know who they are} on this forum make me feel that way?.After 100's of deals i have done with alot of members and having 99.9% of them happy with my shipping/pricing leave this forum.So NO iam not leaving this forum at all.So iam Back but i just went to point out a few things.First of all i always put in my reply or my posting Best To Email me,my P/M box is always full but i do try to keep it open for a few P/M's but it's hard because the box onlt holds 50 total P/M's incoming and out going..But the problem with Email's is that some member's do not put a title to the email or put something like "Hi'',"what's up",It's me,ete,ete. These emails go to my spam file and i DO NOT CHECK THAT FILE with over 250-300 emails coming in a day with 30-40 deals going on a day I Do Not Have the Time to check the file..SO the bottom line is that when you email me please put a Title on email like "looking for ludwig parts" looking for leedy parts" ete that way i will get and see your Email..and reply to it with in a day or two...Now on shipping times.This is the way i do it Now when you pay for the parts by PayPal--{NO MONEY ORDERS} i then move the money to my bank account this takes up to 5 days,the your part or parts will be shipped,I only ship once a week i ship anywere from 75-125 order's out a week iam a one man shop.Your part or parts can take up to 10 working days till you get them after payment is made..I do not have the time to run to the post office or fed-ex everyday to ship..I try to stay with-in this time But sometime's things come up and your parts will take a few more days to get to you.Only one time a part been lost--[see other post] but a refund was given..You will get your part or parts from me..Now i hope all the member's are happy with this posting laying out the way i do things on shipping..If these things or time line does not work for you all i ask is that Please don't order parts from me then their will be No problems....Thanks Mikey
