Mike,

So true!

Believe it or not, I actually was deciding between Packard and Dusenberg for Leedy.

Having said that, I treat all my Leedys like a Duesenberg!!

Ludwigs would be MOPARS. Charger R/T's, HEMI RoadRunners, GTX's, Challengers, Cudas etc.

I was just thinking "what no love for the Dodge"

BMW is German ;) WV seems too basic to mě. Mercedes too fancy. Bayerische MotorWerke is just right, imho :)

Yes that`s right Bavarian, my bad,...But VW makes Porsche and Audi,..My daughter has the V-10 M-5 race package,...I got a 90`s GMC sierra rust bucket,...Don`t ask how that works I`m still trying to figure it out too. !i

Oh, it`s talking to AZN and Farmtruck in the picture, can you guess what it`s saying ?

Gretsch bop would be the Porsche 356 Speedster...a made for America car, for THE American scene.

I'd rather compare a Gretsch bop kit to an American car....like a Shelby Cobra or maybe a Bill Thomas Cheetah!

I agree with your premise: Cheetah was made entirely in the US, so was Gretsch...but not Shelby.

My thought was: A Gretsch bop kit was made for a specific scene, so was the speedster.
