This is a 1930's Slingerland radio king drum set. the color is white marine pearl. this is a rare kit, can you post pics of the badge on the bass drum,? does it have a snare drum also ? Also repost this in the vintage section start your own thread it will get more attention from the other forum members.

I can get you a picture of the badge tomorrow. I will be stopping back over there. It is everything in the picture, 4 pieces, and the one that is hanging on the wall is just the shell i guess. Is the one sitting on top of the bass the snare? I am not a drummer obviously :/

I wouldn't give the the time of day. Just ignore them. Then experts here will help you come up with a reasonable value. Don't rush to sell them.

...and don't rush to clean them either. You can do a lot of damage in simply trying to clean a vintage kit like that. Either leave that to the person to whom you end up selling or spend a lot of time learning how to clean and possibly repair them correctly. Also note that you can probably get as much for the kit as is as you would cleaning it up. Excellent kit.

I LOVE Slingerland drums...and have had more Slingy kits and snare drums than any other US make. Currently, I have a 1967 4pc jazz-style kit, with matching Artist snare drum and a custom-built 4x14 BR-style snare, my beautiful 1968 WMP BR kit, a 1971 Modern Solo 2R (in stunning Sparkling Purple Pearl) and a 1994 HSS era 4pc jazz kit, which is undergoing a Patriotic theme for the 4th of July. Pictures will be posted!
