Hoshino Drum Spurs

Loading...

I have an old Hoshino kit that is missing a spur from it's kick drum and I am trying to source a replacement. From what I understand these kits were copies of the Pearl kit of that time and from what I have read on the net all the parts should be replaceable with those by Pearl. This certainly seems to be the case with the tom brackets etc but when I have searched for Pearl spurs (both modern and vintage) I can't seem to find any with the same fitting with the 2 screws.

Any info or advice on where I could obtain a suitable replacement would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!

What is the hole spacing of the mounting screws?

Center to Center.

I have never seen that particular spur design. And Pearl spurs have 3 mounting holes.

Indeed, it certainly seems a difficult one to trace

Thanks for the link but it no longer goes through to any type of listing and I'm just greeted with the message,

"Hmmm, we can't find any results for Pearl/Hoshino Bass Drum Spur"

Did it look the same?

The link is for a Pearl they are selling.

Just below the Hmmmm.

I do not know if the Pearl will work. Just a heads up.

I had a Hoshino set back in the day. Lasted me well, but the hardware really let it down, very cheap, soft metal. If you can find something ti fit the hole spacing other than Hoshino, that's what I would do.
