NEW YEAR BUMP!
Any suggestions on what would make a suitable replacement to avoid having to drill new holes in the shell? As mentioned above, 4cm spacing between the 2 holes, centre to centre.

Hello backwater channels
I have seen my share of Hoshino stuff
But not that particular type of folding spur
It must be something produced much later than anything I have or have seen elsewhere
I would be very curious to see pics of the whole kit or at very least the bass drum
Thanks for the reply Kenwood. I believe I have some photos of the kit from a while back which I have on file somewhere that I shall try to locate and post later today. Failing that I shall take some new pics in the next day or two when I'm next over at my unit where the kit is currently stored.

A few quick photos that I took of the kit earlier.
I used to say that Hoshino is the 3rd of the big three in vintage MIJ. Perhaps AMC would be a better analogy?
I see they tried to model the Rogers lugs. I wonder if these are as solid as they look.
The early Tama took the cake when it came to being SOLID. (Think the late 70s Tama stuff including the Swingstar).
No lead for these spurs. Seen very little Hoshino stuff here (Michigan)
Just thinking outloud here.
Carry on.....
