Full dress or not???

From green glass drum

Where did you get the full dress diamonds?

The custom wrap guy (sorry, I forget his name,) on here has several versions of the diamonds for sale. Check out his offering. There is a thread from him about the full-dress diamonds in the General section. You'll have to go back a page or two to find it. It was posted about a month ago.

Yes Compact drums, but i have decided to leave them natural. I think that the full dress stuff looks better on painted drums with matching colors.

I agree about it only looking good on certain kits. It's also kind of a dated, old-timey look and would only be appropriate under certain conditions. They'd look great on a kit being used in an old-school big-band, but wouldn't look so cool in a rock band setting because it looks so dated. I guess it all boils down to personal taste.

I'd stick with the Levon Helm look.

I made them with leftover silver and green sparkle wrap from Precision.

Nice Job. How did you adhere them?

Without Diamonds is good for this kit.

Double sided superthin carpet tape for the test. I was pretty sure that the diamonds were coming off sooner or later.
