I sure would like a kit in Lime Green Sparkle. Why don't they make this?

I actally have a 1961 Ludwig 15" Tenor snare that was Emerald Sparkle.

Apparently, it must have seen alot of sun, because it faded out, nice and evenly

though, to a really nice (believe it or not) Lime green. I think it would be really cool to have a kit that color. Well, I like it anyways. LOL

I was thinking of finding some shells that have been raped, and cover them in

Emerald sparkle, take 'em outside, and put 'em in the sun. Just for the hell of it.

I like many modern fades, but I usually don't like tobacco sunburst or fade and many natural finishes.

I also like Champagne sparkle and turquoise sparkle. I don't like steel finishes on wood drums.

I've always loved the early 80's TAMA Superstar aquamarine woodstain.

Least favorite would probably be some of the horrendous Swingstar finishes from the 80's, including the red and white Van Halen knock off wrap.

I like sparkle wraps, myself. Actually, I hate to admit this, but my favorite sparkle wrap is the one that comes on that new OCDP Travis Barker kit--yeah, the one with the 4" chrome front hoop. It's like a silver sparkle, but you see ALL of the colors like a prism. It's like a broken glass finish, but more pronounced and colorful. Very eye-catching, but too bad it comes on such a crappy kit.

If I were stuck on a desert island with only one finish, though, it would HAVE to be a satin flame wrap. Those are the wraps I actually catch myself looking at for more time than I should. And, those two-tone satin flames? Amazing! I like the red and yellow one best, followed closely by the blue and green one.

Least favorite? Those wine red wraps on modern MIJ kits. Also, that fire engine red wrap on early 80s Tamas. Not a fan of red on a kit, I guess, unless it's red sparkle or red satin flame.
