Fat Albert hats.......

Interestingly enough I've been doing this for a couple years now with broken cymbals. On my kit with my Symphonic Metal band I think I have about 8-10 on my kit. Man they are great accents, similar to Crotales in some regard, but also splash intermixed with china. At the very least it's a great way to recycle broken cymbals and find new and unique sounds that you simply can't buy anywhere.

That`s what I think will do with the small bell thin one, keep it for a accent because it still sounds good and has no more wash to it.

So it`s Tuesday and my hats are gonna be gone. From trash to gig. They made their way to a guy I didn`t know was an active drummer. He`s like 25 or something and is an electrician that comes by the shop a lot. If he likes them, (because he saw them Friday when I wasn`t there) I`ll let him keep them.
