I've been watching this thread with great interest since the beginning. I just hadn't commented since I really had nothing intelligent to say (I know, never has stopped me before).
However, now you get a hearty handshake and a pat on the back. That kit is gorgeous!
Nicely done! Clapping Happy2

Thank you very much. But I have to come clean here guys - this kit sat in vinyl bags in a closet for maybe 30 years. The dry climate in Perth probably really helped. There is some slight fading; 2 small spots of yellowing underneath the kick from the rubber feet slowly decomposing (strange I know) but all I did was pull it apart and clean it really carefully. The wrap is outstanding and the chrome mostly 9/10. I honestly hope that you guys have experienced or do get to experience finding a kit in this shape. Don't get me wrong - I love restoring a trashed kit too - but this one is the other kind and I feel very lucky. Also I feel very happy for the next owner, whenever that may be.
Those look incredible! Great job restoring!
