Drouyn drums - first look at a rare kit

Troutstudio - these are amazing! They look really pretty, I like how they mix some European features with their own. In a way, they look a lot like my set:

Amati copied some Premier's designes and they even used lugs and tom mounts, very similar to yours, on some of their really old drums.

The Amati's look so good! I'd love to see a set up close. Great vintage kit.

This is what makes this forum so wonderful- stunning drums and fantastic photos as well. I can't decide if they look ready for the band stand or the museum- 100% amazing

Love it!

These exotic drums look so cool to my jaded eyes, which have seen countless Ludwig/Slingerland/Rogers/Gretsch etc all these years.

Asba/Hayman/Meazzi/Premier/Drouyn kits are all a bit of fresh air!

Thanks...Bowing

Yes!!

Gotta say, those drums look fantastic! I can't believe how nice they look, and I love the 'branded' pedal too. Really nice touch which really caps the whole thing off.

Really, really cool!

...or eating. They look delicious.

You have done a brilliant job on those Trout. A piece of Aussie rock and roll (or jazz maybe?) history brought back to life no less.

Thanks for the kind posts. Yes, I am going to put a clip on Youtube. Unfortunately, my audio interface has developed a buzz in one master channel but I hope to have to back by midweek. I'm going to make a small presentation which covers a few finer details.
