Yes - it has turned out good - so far. I got all my money - even more than I advertised (I had all three priced at $700 and if you bought them individually they were $290/$250/$250 = total of $790. The buyer offered to pay $790 for all three. He sent me the money plus shipping and insurance (I offered to pay the insurance value over and above $790 which was about $21). I sent him his cymbals and we wait now to see if and when he gets them. The tracking # says they're still in BC Canada. I told the buyer it was going to take at least 8 weeks for the package to get to Poland and he was totally alright with that.

This is an example of amazing trust on his part. I've developed a little bit of a friendship with him via email and I hope to keep in touch with him after he gets his precious cargo.

Jaghog - I think you might not have read through the posts because if you had you would not have replied as you did. No harm though....the is just drums and talk and I have skim read some threads before posting. It's all good mate.

Cheers!

Maciek got his cymbals today! I got an email from him and man is he happy.

The parcel took about 9 weeks to get him in Poland.

I'm very happy this worked out......I was a little sceptical (note the title of my Thread). But, in the end, I think I made a new friend...a fellow drummer in Poland....that's pretty goodClapping Happy2

That would be good. I did a small tour in local (B.C. Canada) Fisheries waters on a Polish factory Trawler in 1990. I was working as Canadian Observer for Federal Fisheries at that time. I drank a little vodka, ate lots of fish....ate pretty good actually. I still have some Polish beer (not good now I expect). I sent Maciek a photo of the beer and he got quite a kick out of it. That beer was a good beer and is not available now he told me. He said I have "vintage drums and vintage beer" lol.

You never know how these things will turn out.........

15 years ago,I sold a 18 year old guy in Australia a Acrolite for $75.

We started faxing back and forth, then he would call once in a while.

I ended up getting a round trip ticket to anywhere in the world from Sprint from a program they had on all the 1-800- phone business I did with them over the years.

Anyway,I told my friend Glenn I might go to Oz,and he told me back that his mum said I could stay there for a while if I went there.

So,I ended up spending a week with him and his family outside Sydney.

He knew Chad Wackerman, who was living there then,so 1 night,we all went out with Chad for pizza after Chad played........!

Glenn also drove me around to different drumshops I would have never seen otherwise.

You never know where the drum brothership might lead!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
