Yes, it's definitely worth over 1k even for restored kits. Could be worth more depending on the type of repairs made and the drum sizes. Also if all original vintage Camco parts was used for the restoration... it appears to be a lovely restored kit.

Thank you, I did the restoration myself, did as good as I could. The 14" ft is all original so its worth some bucks by itself.

And they sold immediately after they were posted as they were WAY underpriced .

I believe Camco was using Rogers hardware as a special-order option from a point fairly early in the 60's. Dennis Wilson's moire set-up had Rogers tom mount, spurs and floor tom legs. He had been a Rogers user, but switched to Camco while at the same time retaining Rogers hardware all along.

Absolutely NEVER use "BIN" results as current market value for anything especially a undervalued CAMCO bop kit.

It’s obvious the kit was truly underpriced and that the seller had no clue what so ever about CAMCO.

I disagree on this. If its sold, its sold. Doesn't matter if its a BIN or Auction.

If I read the description, the seller knows enough about Camco/vintage drums to make his price. He just asked what he thought what it was worth. It sold for that price so that is the current value. Value is as good as the last sale.

No need to keep up the prices higher then needed only for the sake of nostalgic reasons or the old sky high prices that once were before the internet arrived and people didn't know anything about older drums/sales.
