Hi everybody,
First post here, and I already have a question, if you don't mind :D.
I was looking around for a "new" kit, and I found an interesting ad for some Slingerland shells. (I do not yet have pictures, the guy will upload some later, I don't know when)
Here's what he's selling:
24 bass drum
20, 18, 16 floors
15 (2x), 14 (2x), 13, 12 toms
So that'd be 10 shells (I don't think it's all from one set, but I don't really care)... He says all shells are complete and in good condition, but they need some sanding, cleaning and re-wrapping. I'm not sure what hardware is present exactly (like BD spurs, FT legs, or perhaps tom arms), so I'll have to wait for him to up some pictures.
He wants 500 euro for it (I guess that's about 700 dollar).
I know I should wait for pictures, but I don't want to be too slow. I found a guy who was selling an awesome 6 piece mint Sonor Phonic Plus for 550 euro before, but another guy beat me to it :(... (I am aware a Phonic is very different from a Slingerland).
You guys think this is too expensive? I think it's not, but they do need re-wrapping. So I'm not sure. And I haven't done much re-wrapping, so it'll probably cost me :P.
And I don't think he'll go down in price, since he bought them for the same amount, but sells them again now because he has no time to restore them.
Anyone got any opinion on this?
(Sorry for the post being so lengthy :/)
