Blaemire Tom from Vintage Drum Bug Last viewed: 4 days ago

I used to see a guy at Venice Beach,CA who had a Camco hardware/ Blaemire shells set. I told him I'd buy em on the spot. "Not for sale" he said...Great looking tubs!

Recently, Jinx put up some shots of one he made for a customer. That kit was 'The Ultimate' in terms of hardware and looks. The chrome turrets were killer against the green glass shells. As granny Clampett might say, 'It gave me the vapors just looking at it!' lol

Too many great drums to list here!

Hey Vinnie,

That's a guy named Rene Castro. He loves that kit, and will never sell them.

John,

That Camco/Blaemire kit is the one Jerry restored for his partner, David Martin, as a gift.

That first photo of your son behind the kit is a classic. Rock & Roll!

I know you must have a blast playing those drums. If possible, could you post up a short sound file? I'd love to hear them.

That Camco is so cool.

I am now using a smaller set up.

The Camco's reminded me of my current set up.

Here is what I am using now.

The hi tom is a 12x14, FT is a 16x18, BD is a 16x20, SN 7.25x13.

The little 8x8 is really the only size tom I can fit over a BD.

The rack will be gone soon.

Gotta see those drums better.

Scott - That kit is a stone cold killer! As I read your post, it hit me how the sizes would sound like a strange mix to guys who are not familiar with FG drums! That 16"x20" in fiberglass is a CANNON! I'm sure it fits right in, (volume-wise) with the big 14" rack and 18" floor.

Sweet set of drums!

Stealth baby....stealth!

That set up seems to be functioning on a high level.

It is holding up a lot of gear but so unobtrusive.

Hey, I can see the drums.

I am going back to regular stands for now.

I need some Pearl and some Atlas or Hercules bases.

That is the Stealthiest I have seen.

NICE !
