ASBA 50s restoration

Loading...

This beautiful ASBA circa 50 is come back to life !! After a few hours of restoration... With natural skins, this drumkit is now restored and regained its original charm ... Under natural light, it returns to the original turquoise, but under artificial light, time has done its work on the rhodoïd, it sometimes appears green... Finally, despite its difficult past, the ASBA sound is here !... But rather than words, let's go for pics !!

Wow. So much to admire. The final results are stunning. And the outside the box approach to tom and cymbal mount locations, etc are really interesting. Thanks.

Wow beautiful~! Amazing work on the bass drum. Can you please post pictures of the bass drum fix again? I didn't get to see them and they are gone now. And I'm sure many of us are interested how you did it thanks. BTW the tom mounts look very well made. Cool drums.
