This looks great with the non inlay hoops, I may just get them and and stain them black, so you can see the wood grain.

Please under stand, I forgot to mention that I did apply a veneer to the hoops, curly maple. We got some discussions coming up. Would you be interested in a phone call? I can tell you some pretty shocking things about this kit, just from the pix, which you may already suspect...It would take a lot of typing to accomplish what a 15 minute phone call would. I will send a PM in just a second. I ordered the 12 ply maple hoop. I had the guy do the round over for me. I am going to just do a black stain, then seal them.
