Maybe offer Chris a deposit on the blue kit

He is great guy and an A number# 1 seller

The quality of vintage gear that Chris has had is absolutely mind boggling

I am partial to the blue kit. To me they really pop, but under stage lights the silver really jumps out and reflects the different colored lights. Fantastic kit, hope you really enjoy it.

no doubt .. the blue kit was in remarkable shape ... and if it is still available in a couple weeks I'll own it as well

Steve Maxwell swayed me hard toward the silver kit ... and I was so torn and looking for anyone to pull me in any direction that it worked

I'm very happy with my decision

I'm late to vote but both were gorgeous. I love love love silver sparkle - classy at a wedding, birthday party, Bar Mitzvah, any genre, jamming with John Fogerty ... just overall classic! Congrats.

Super interested in his reasoning, if it's all right to share...

Myself I just think SS is the best, purely subjective.

well ... it was about an hours worth of texts ... but he basically said same shells better color ... and how in his store ... if all is what should be on the kits the blue would sell for about $1600 and the silver for $1900 because they just don't show up as much in good condition

that is really editing down a very long text conversation ... but the gist I guess

we went into the details of each particular kit
