I see the predicament you are in...Both sets are beautiful, but, my vote is for the blue sparkle...Color is so vibrant...

Cheers

thank you ... yes that kit is amazingly clean

I'm leaning slightly that way at the moment ... based on how super clean it is and the fact that it is earlier

both are super clean ... but the blue is cleaner with no rash , fade, or anything

I'd be torn between the two as well, as those finishes are on my top 5 favs of all time.

My favorite color is blue, so for me it would be the blue. But that's just me !

I like the silver best ... but I do fear that the 66 may suffer from a more shoddy build due to the Ringo factor ...

plus the '63 intrigues me because I come across kits that early in that good of condition much less

the thing is basically perfect

thank you guys for all the input

63's should all have COB hoops, by 66 they were using steel. A minor consideration ( and always possible that hoops got switched out over the years) but another point to consider. Both sets look beautiful! Hard to go wrong either way.

I spent the last hour texting back and forth with Steve Maxwell and ended up purchasing the '66 silver sparkle

thank you guys for all your help today ... much appreciated

I may end up looping around and grabbing the blue one in a few weeks if it is still around ;)
