AMEN brother. I've started wearing slippers lately due to the abundance of eggshells....my cat makes good conversation at times...I'm just saying.
Could someone stop and analyze the words and figure out what we are doing wrong? I don't mind adjusting my words to help. This is just getting too weird. Is it me? :(
Pretty sure that's a 14 x 22 bass...Slingerland didn't do 16s back then.
I think you'd get the most $ for your set if you sold the Ludwig hardware and cymbals separately. The black 22, 12, 13 16 with the snare would probably get $500-750 by itself.
did not mean to come across as being touchy someone else suggested I try different forum, I am fine. Bass is 14 by 22.
GREAT to hear. Oh man...I was thinking it was me. The past couple of weeks, I seem to be putting my foot into it. I'm glad you're good.flowers2
Please look at the holes in the cymbals. Is there a spot where it has worn? Are there keyholes worn? That's what it looks like to me from the pics. That's why I was asking. If not, it must be the pics. No probs.
I agree with RichK. Split the hardware/cymbals and the drums. I also agree with the price.
Price on the cymbals will definitely be impacted if they have keyholes or not. Could you confirm?
will show up close pictures of cymbals stay tuned
Yup. Those cymbals look pretty clean. It was my eyes on the previous pic. Go man go. RichK called this one. Separate them and sell away.
I've always followed the "hunnurd ah peese" price point on 70's A's. These could fetch a bit more due to their condition, but that's a baseline. You should do fairly well on these.
Hi thanks for keeping up with the replies keep in mind these are pics and I would rate the drums in good condition you really think they are in that price range? That would be great. Remember in one of the early posts someone said 175 firm. What was that about?
175.00 is way low, I think they were TRYING to be funny! I think Rich K. is more on target. I used to take lessons at Franks around that time, that was a great place! Those stickers alone should boost the value of those drums.
