I have replaced chrome strips but have fabricated "staples" from small Brads/Nails... I used a vice to create the bends and a grinder to sharpen ends....

Nice kit... lucky guy... The 12/16/20 look to be Mahogany/poplar/mahogany shells... that would make them even slightly earlier production... Cheers...
