Thanks guys! I'm pretty pumped.

I took one of the heads off the 18" and it DOES have reinforcement rings. The inside mufflers and such aren't even rusted, the springs and screws, nothing. Even the felt is still soft!

The other head says "Gretsch Broadkaster" on it. Seems like calf? No plastic ply on the inside.

the reason that head says broadkaster on it is because that drum is a real one, you've got a 50's broadkaster, the re-rings, oh man that drum is gonna knock you over, see abou the others?

The others do not have re-rings.

The 13" and 16" both have the original orange and white labels on the inside.

Happy to report that all drums are measured and in round also. :)

The 22" bass regretfully does not have its badge (I didn't really notice that in the buying melee). I also noticed it doesn't have spurs or holes for spurs. There are lugs and the rail consolette and a hole in the top center where the badge was, but nothing else. How should I go about giving legs to this drum?

He shoots.....he scores!

The 18" FT might be worth $500-600 alone!

Yes,you have a calf head on there..........

Better buy some Novus 1 and 2 pronto!

Do close up before/after pics...........

Is there any value/purpose to leaving the calf head on (its on resonant side) or at least hanging on to it (is it worth anything to anyone out there)?

Novus? Thanks for the suggestion, I'll be asking ALL about proper products/methods for restoration soon.

vintagemore2000: If you can hold those spurs for me until September 1st, you have a guaranteed sale.
