Just a thought... What he did is illegal. Have you considered contacting the police? The band's web site says he lives in Cedar City, UT. HERE is his hometown police department's web site, with contact phone numbers.

Regarding the infamous Bludart....I had the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE with this thief last Christmas on ebay. He accepted my best offer for a Pearl fiberglass kit then sent me 8 emails in 2 days (christmas eve and day?!) insisting I pay immediately.

As soon as he had my money he told me he'd sold the drums locally (sound familiar?) and would issue me a refund. The refund failed to go thru though and was listed as "pending" due to insufficient funds in his account. I was suspicious of him from the start and filed a claim thru paypal when they informed me the reason his refund wasn't going thru was that he'd emptied his paypal account before issuing the refund. When this happens the refund is listed as "pending" but it's really just waiting for their to be enough money in the seller's account to issue the refund. If the account remains empty for 30 days the refund is officially "cancelled" and the buyer is SOL. Paypal knew all about it and they refunded my money but i still had to wait almost a month. Meanwhile this scumbag is sending me the most foul mouthed hate emails and threatening me on and on (for filing a claim to get my money back).

The worst of it is that he was able to get my negative feedback removed because i mentioned the claim in the feedback posting and that is apparently against ebay policy (wtf???-shouldn't buyers know this about a seller?).

Sadly he has apparently been able to continue with this scam and has gotten away with it at least once. He should be behind bars- or at last outed to the entire music community.

Derrek is quite a creep and ebay covers for him ,mybe they should be held accountable for there aiding and abeding if not accessory to the fact they know what he does and lets it presist ,and they are paid so that might even add to the charges. Im wondering who won or thought they won that old pink Ludwig set he listed with the Pearl set I got screwed on

I sent DERREK ADAMS/ buedart an email letting him know his scams were catching up to him and he was going to get what he deserved. This was his reply cut and pasted directly from my ebay messages today;

'I deserve what? Looks like I'm still here moron. If/when that ends,

I have several more Ebay accounts waiting behind this one. I'll

never be gone.'

Can you believe ebay lets scum like this rip their buyers of OVER AND OVER again? He doesn't even try and hide it anymore. Looks like Utah needs a new sheriff.
