Did Zildjian make a 26" A Ride

If this cymbal is really a 26" is it worth the money. The add says as is so it makes me wonder.

or one hell of a keyhole.....

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

No, that is some kind of wire hanging out. It might be a locking device or something so people can't steal it.

Does anyone think it is worth $200.00

Why's there the wire on top for the photo then ? Take it off for the photo - no ? Says "as-is" - so maybe something's up with it. Also what's the weight ? lf no issues and the weight isn't over 4000g it could be an awesome cymbal (but my guess is it's heavier than a tank - the big ones usually were hella heavy)

I'll give them a call and find out. Usually they will weigh them on the scale they use for packages. I then convert from lbs. to grams.

Want me to go look on Monday? I know the store and I'm hunting for a little guitar anyway, so I could see it in person.

Otherwise I'd say, make the call and ask them? :) I had a 22" which was HUGE, I can only imagine how large this will feel and what it will sound like.

Sorry on the value question, I'm not informed other than personal opinion. You may want to use that same gauge for figuring the value? How much do you "need" (as in personally want) a 26" ride?

I know I've over paid for something that I just "had to have" and passed on a set of drums for half what they are "worth".

$200 sounds like fair price for one of these, if you need or want it.

Anyway, if you want I'll go for a ride across town and go look at it for you. I need an excuse to go shopping, and there's an Outback almost next door. :D

Thank you for the offer, I really appreciate it. I called them and the cymbal has a crack near the edge with a drill hole to prevent further expansion. I am passing on this one but once again thanks for the offer.

Drumaholic - Not to be argumentative, because I trust what you say! Just for some clarification.

In the thread here about the mis-spelled “K Jildjian Question” cymbal you mentioned “No such thing was ever made by K. Zildjian.” in reference to a 32”. But in the quote above you mention that size. Is one size you mentioned a typo or something, or did Zildjian make a 32”. Could you please clarify? What am I missing here?
