Sorry about that I can't read, either..It was right on the thing, and I just typed out the wrong name for it.

I have some wadding in the garage. If I am not mistaken, it has small chips or strands of metal in them. That would cause micro scratches I would think. It works very well, but I only ever used it for dull headlight lenses, and it was a chore. I know the guys swear by it, but I don't know...It might work very well, but again, it seems to me it would scratch.

I have used The Never-Dull magic Wadding Polish on all the chrome on my drum restorations, and it has always worked very well and it took the rust right off and shined up extremly well. Im pretty sure it doesn't have any chips or strands of metal in it.

I found this online:

You can use Nevr®-Dull on all metals. That includes brass, copper, steel, pewter, and chrome, but you can even use it on fine ***elry metals like gold, platinum and sliver! Using wadding as a metal polish is simple, effective and easy. Best of all, it’s affordable, too! The polish uses no harmful abrasives. It does all of its miraculous work with high tech solvents that are perfectly safe for your treasured car, boat or motorcycle! Avoid the messiness of other polishes by using this stress-free wadding to polish your vehicle’s eye catching contours. Simply tear off a piece of wadding and rub it onto the metal area you with to beautify. Then, wipe away the residue to reveal the elusive shine you’ve been looking for your whole life!

That is very interesting. I wonder what I felt in the wadding I have? Now I have to go look at it and see what is wrong with my pea-brain
