MIJ stencil v.3 - Apollo WMP 5 piece

This is what you need. If you look really close, you will see some drilled out indents in the top, arranged in a semi circle. It will take a plate with a "knob" on it that bolts to it, similar to this:

You mean these sort of lugs? It's okay Mikey I NOW have all the lugs I need.

To Mikeys credit the tension rods I bought from him over a month ago have finally arrived today and are the correct ones. I'd honesty written them off to experience.

I very much appreciate your efforts in finding the correct parts for my project Mikey. Nobody told me it is normal practise for you to take up to three weeks or more to post parts. I have not bought internationally through a forum before. And all I knew is the parts weren't being sent or messages answered- no offence. Had I known up front that the parts might not be sent for several weeks I would have been happy with that.

I'm sorry for any problems I've caused you, I certainly didn't intend to do that. I could only go by what I saw and there was nothing else to go by. So hopefully you can see things from my viewpoint.

Maybe a sticky in the WTB section would be of help, so people would be aware of things like postage delays?

Anyway, best wishes to all for the new year, and thankyou to Mikey for finding those tension rods for me.

Hi cn679,

attached you'll find an idea how the double tom mount should look like complete.

The one on the right side. BTW: they (Star) used this type in 1966, if I'm right.

Those lugs (for toms as well as bass drum plus the claws) look at lot like copies

of what Sonor made in that aera. Star didn't only copy the Slingerland lugs (and

lateron Rogers), but also hardware parts of Sonor.

Great looking kit - I wish I would have that fortune here in Germany one day!

Ralf
