So over the course of this summer I have come into some neat pieces. What started it was a 4 piece blue sparkle George Way set (20, 12, 14 w/matching snare) in stellar shape. Included in the sale was a vintage trap case that had "Dale" painted on the side in a cool kinda art deco style. The previous owner had replaced the original leather straps with some new ones. The last purchase I made was from the same fella....it was a bunch of vintage sticks. They were mostly Camco "PeeWee" sticks and on the other side it says "Little Dale". I also have a single Eddie Knight stick, and a single Louie Bellson ProMark stick, and a pair of WFL sticks. I also purchased a cable that had a sticker on it that said Dale Murphy....among some other modern items.
I have looked for weeks now and cannot find much of anything about Dale Murphy, Little Dale, or a Dale that is a George Way/Camco artist. I was wondering if anyone on here may have a lead? Not sure how common it was back then to have your name on a stick. Thanks!
