Stunning kit and fantastic work on bringing it back to its deserved level of beauty.
Rogers Holiday
If you are not going to mount the second tom or a snare drum to the bass drum via a Swivomatic mount, you have two perfectly good Swivo mounts for cymbals, cowbell, or other doodads. That is a killer-looking drum set.

Thanks Dan, I appreciate that. There was time or two when I was scrubbing lug insert screw sets with a brass brush fingers tired and cramping, I was questioning on the depth of detail. Nonetheless I plowed through every single one. Seeing the kit now and comments like yours are why it was worth it.

Hi leedybdp thanks for checking it out!
I plan on getting a swivo splash arm and telescoping cymbal arm for right collet for ride. My snare is a Holiday model along with the entire kit, in Sparkling Mardi Gras finish, so there is no collet like the Spotlight models have, I kinda wish it did it’s a cool look. Nonetheless I’m very happy to have the cream of the crop in the Holiday series.
By the way is this the Holiday model in Constellation collet config? There’s three collets and no knobby on bass.
My floor is early it doesn’t belong with the kit, it’s a little early in sequence, but there are 2 knobbys on it as well. Not sure if I’ll mount a cymbal on any of them.
When i graduated from high school in 1961, I used my savings from an after-school job plus some help from graduation gift money and and Mom and Dad to order my dream drum set. I had decided to order a Rogers four-piece set with the drums and hardware of my choosing rather than point to a page to order what was shown. I selected Holiday drums in sizes of 14x20, 16x16, 8x12, and matching snare drum all in Black Diamond Pearl. I wanted a bunch of Swivomatic doodads including the snare drum mounted on the bass drum. I wish that I had better photos of this drum set.

I appreciate the pics - That is very cool!
I can see the swivo arm going to snare, and all that leg space!
What animal is that on your logo?
I hear you as far as working for it. When I was in high school I worked to buy my first big boy purchase which was a 6 piece Pearl Export in mirror chrome wrap.
The creature is a Shmoo. That was a character by Al Capp from L'il Abner. The leg room from not having a snare stand was very liberating. I've given thought to altering one of my drum sets to have this feature. If the Swivo hardware was installed properly, who would know but me?

Those dad-burned guitarists and their Fender amps were always spoiling a good picture of a Rogers set. Got worse with the Vox stuff. That's why Ringo had to get that riser into position. Walking

PS - Did the lug issue on the B&B's show up quickly, or did they hold up on your set?
I played that set for nearly four years on countless load ins, set-ups, load outs for the one-nighters that we played (no clubs). I was never aware of any issues with the lugs. I never heard of the lug problems until at least twenty years after I owned that Rogers set.
