I see the collets. I was trying to be facetious and snide at the same time. When you have the absolute best tom mounts to have ever been devised, why would you put your tom on a snare drum stand? Are you just missing the arms for the tom holders? Please let us know why you're not using the collets?
Hi leedybdp, as you see in the forefront of one of the pics, it came with a swivomatic arm as well as a generic L-style cymbal arm.
I did attempt to use the swivo arm in the collet, but was giving fits, so I just got nervous and racked it.
Thanks for your keenness and scrutiny, what’s cool about the kit is it has 3 collets on bass drum. As my snare wasn’t originally part of the kit, there’s no collet. I will look for a splash and a telescoping stand for my ride, and get the tom mounted as well.
I’m out of town for the weekend I’ll show more cool features of the rest of the kit when I get home tomorrow - stay tuned.
I have a few questions:
Are those tall boy hoops?
Does anyone repair bnb lugs professionally?
Does anyone know if bearing edges were originally painted in grey or black speck with rest of interior, or are they wood color like normal making plies visible?
Also what can I get pitting off hoops with?
