Could you use an extra drum throne? Do you sit low behind your drum set? Or, are you like me with short arms and legs? I saw this a few minutes ago in a Facebook ad with a short video. I love canister thrones. I had one custom made for me that has a heavily-padded seat. The top of the canister throne seat is 21 inches above the floor. I measured card table chairs, desk chairs, and dining room chairs to be in the range of 17.5 to 21 inches. Look at the video in this link. I was going to order one at the $39.99 plus tax and shipping until I checked if I could do better on Amazon Prime. BINGO! I ordered one for $20.00 plus a couple bucks tax and free shipping to arrive tomorrow. I would have ordered my first color choice--gray--for almost $40. But, black with a red top and base will work just fine at half the price. The collapsable aspect of it alone is note worthy. Very neat!
Not bad for under 20 sucks...ugly as sin, though (imo)....but, hey, if it's functional and you dig it...
I'll be curious to read more after you try it out.

Will do. I'm already thinking about getting a faux sheepskin bicycle seat cover for the seat part.
I was on a camping trip last year and we crossed paths with a guy on a multi-day backpacking trip who brought one of these with him. I thought he was nuts to lug it along until I tried it out. I made a mental note to pick one up when I got home, and then completely forgot about it (that's they way most of my mental notes go).
