Absolutely beautiful drum. Great finish :D

I still don't believe they are worth 1800. I think that's just too high. I would pay in the neighborhood of 800-1000 for this kit. Maybe a bit more if I was in the same room and got taken with the finish first hand. But 1800? No. Too much. Nice nice nice kit.

Very nice. Did you get to check the interior to see if the paper tag was for Dayton or Fullerton? Very simple..... If it was Covington built, then the price is not bad. I have seen very few nice original Dayton 24s. If Fullerton, then maybe a bit high. The condition is a big plus. The bass drum has an added mount.

From what I could see, the original mount configuration was that of a Celebrity set. The two cymbal holders for L rods are correct, and the swivo mount in the center was probably added.

Your call. Keep us posted.

Are these pictures from a music store or someone's personal collection? WOW! The last picture with all the snares is awesome. Yeah, what Powertone said, keep us posted. $1800 is too high, but, (from the pictures) the drums look great. One way to look at it, $1800 is still less than a brand new top of the line modern drumset. And the value of Rogers will only go up. (I wish you could get the price down to the $1000-$1200 range)
